Sexuality

No one knows what makes people gay, lesbian, bisexual or straight. Your sexuality is individual to you and if you’re attracted to people of the same sex, this is normal and natural.

Safe sex

Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can pass from women to women and men to men, as well as between women and men. To avoid STIs, men should always wear a condom if they have oral or anal sex. Women should use a dam (a square of very thin, soft plastic) over their genitals during oral sex. If you're using sex toys, cover them with a condom and use a new condom for each partner.

You should also get tested for STIs every time you change sexual partners.

You can’t get pregnant if you are having sex with someone of the same sex. If you also have straight sex, make sure you’re prepared with contraception.
