Is ureaplasma an STI?

Ureaplasma is not considered an STI. Ureaplasma bacterium is one of the many bacterias commonly found in the body which causes no problems or symptoms.

It can be passed via sexual contact, but it is not considered an STI because for most people it is harmless and goes unnoticed.
